Moorhen Lodge is a luxury log cabin with a hot tub located in woodlands near the Scottish Highlands village of North Kessock and only 10 minutes drive from Inverness.

This holiday lodge offers a peaceful place to stay in the woods where you can relax in the hot tub whilst enjoying the scenery and a spot of wildlife watching.

All the accommodation is on the ground floor with a cosy open plan living area consisting of a sitting area with comfy sofas and a wood burner, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are at the back of the lodges and the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The log cabin is completed by a large family bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC.

Groups of properties

There are two luxury log cabins at this site so you can book Moorhen Lodge along with Heron Lodge. Perfect if you want to go on holiday as a larger group but still have your own private space in this peaceful wood. If you book both properties, they will sleep 8 people.

Location

The lodges are situated in a peaceful wood, near the lovely village of North Kessock on the Moray Firth. Wildlife lovers will enjoy watching the antics of red squirrels, deer, long-tailed tits, red kites, herons, and owls. You can drive to Inveness in about 10 minutes and the Black Isle isn’t far away with it’s famous resident dolphins.
